about

The track is composed from ten individual sound recordings from an alpine meadow in the French Pyrenees. Recordings were made using the inbuilt stereo mics on a Zoom H4nPro, mono JrF D series hydrophone and a stereo pair of DPA omnidirectional mics.

The recordings were taken over two afternoons on the CAMP Environmental Sound Recording course at Aulus les Bains led by Chris Watson. Thanks to Chris, CAMP hosts James and Sarah, and all my colleagues on the course - especially Angeline Girard for the loan of the DPA mics.
